The Learning Trajectory Construction of Elementary School Students in Solving Integer Word Problems

چکیده
The integer is a basic concept in studying arithmetic and algebra. However, students still frequently experience misconceptions, especially negative integer, count operations. Traditional games are activities that often carried out by coastal areas so they relevant to be used as tool construct learning trajectories solving word problems. aim of this study produce trajectory can solve problems using traditional games. This design-based research. Participants were five grade sixth elementary school students. There 6 sub-topics studied, i.e., the integers, sequence addition subtraction operations, division multiplication mixed related integers. results obtained student for each sub-topic including free play, collecting data from game results, making mathematical relationships, building concepts, applying them various Students able do problem-solving based on tasks but require intervention apply it other situations without engaging activities. Further research required more in-depth exploration thinking process, instruction types, behaviours might display independently
